Tried & True Danish Oil
|Tried and True Danish Oil is a superior penetrating linseed oil finish that is partially polymerized to speed the drying process. It is ideal for all interior woodwork where a soft, natural satin sheen is desired, including fine furniture, wood paneling and cabinets, as well as surfaces that come into contact with food such as salad bowls, wooden utensils and butcher blocks. Danish Oil may be used over bare wood or over stained wood. Its natural tint will darken the wood slightly and it can also be combined with oil-based pigments to create wood stains. Features:Safe for contact with food-bearing surfaces.Zero VOCs (volatile organic compounds).No heavy metal driers—safe for skin contact.Made from renewable ingredients; environmentally friendly.Directions for Use: Apply a very thin coat across entire piece with a lint-free cloth at room temperature.Allow Danish Oil Finish to penetrate for a minimum of 5 minutes.Rub in briskly with a lint-free cloth until the surface is completely dry.Allow the piece to cure for a minimum of 8 hours.Burnish with a soft cloth or 0000 steel wool. The more you rub the better it will look.Additional coats will deepen the shine and increase protection.
